Jonah

JonahI was not expecting this title. This particular image was illustrating a poem that was emphasizing TOTAL self-abandoned surrender into the Tree and River of Life. It seemed the Lord indicated this was to be called Jonah.

So, I meditated on this. Jonah never took full responsibility for, nor fully engaged in full surrender. When on the ship to escape, as the threatening storm arose, Jonah told the sailors to throw him overboard, leaving them to take responsibility and guilt for his life.

This painting with this title probes with the questions of our own surrender to the River and Tree of Life.
